[e-gold-list] No more free rides.
As a few of you have seen I have discontinued the webmaster program. There are a handful of you out there running legitimate sites sending legitimate clicks. I will be contacting you directly about a new program. Affiliates will be on a pre-approved basis only and the payout will be greater. Sites such as myecom and iloveclicks have been filtered out of this last months payouts. These sites serve only one purpose, to artificially increase traffic. These programs provide blind links and redirects to send people to a site. People that have no interest in e-gold. If you have not received a payout from me it is because you used one of the click scam sites, used blind links, or sent out spam. My favorite trick was "click on this link for free gold". After the first I will begin making changes to the site and expanding beyond e-gold. It seems that the only things people wish to post is the latest [insert the get rich scheme of the week here] scam sites. E-Gold has potential to be a great system, but it is plagued by scams and cons. I beleive that it is time to stop ignoring the scams and shine a light on them. I am going to take a week and visit my favorite haunt, the Silver Legacy in Reno. When I return I will begin a new feature of the site: E-Gold scams and alerts.
