[e-gold-list] Please take my e-mail out of my address book

2001-08-04 Thread Alexis Golzman

I keep receiving that Hi, how are you? e-mails with BIG attachments with
viruses. So far, I didn't open them. But I'm afraid some day I will. And
it's using all of my e-mail addresses!

I'm sure it's because someone has the Sircam virus on their computer and
it's inadvertently sending me those messages, because I must sure be in
their address book.

Please remove me of your address book! If you want to send me an e-mail,
you can go to one of my sites and send me a message through a web form. If
you want to use your e-mail client, be sure that my e-mail is not added to
your address book.

And please take the time to keep your PC's clean from viruses!

Thanks,
Alexis.

Michael,

Site looks really good. Easy to get around and some useful features.

15,000 links to gold sites. Amazing.

Cheers,

Chuck.

2001-08-04 Thread David Brooks

Andi, I see that you place a 5% Surcharge on using e-Gold. This would
seem to be counter-intuitive, given e-Gold's lower costs and harder
currency. I can understand charging more for the use of Credit Cards, but
not gold. Am I missing something about your business model that would
justify the higher rates for a safer currency?

It's as easy as pie:

http://www.e-gold.com/unsecure/metaldata.asp?GOLD=1CUR=USDLATEST=1

However, go here
https://www.bamdex.com/
and click on the ticker link at the top right.

There is so much info displayed in the Bamdex ticker, and on the half
dozen rollovers on the ticker, that it would be a profound waste of
effort to bother trying to duplicate it!

I believe a couple of other sites already have links to launch the
bamdex ticker, perhas just do that!

Hoe it helps, JP
