[e-gold-list] 'visual spend' feature; opinion sought
Hey everyone! I am considering making a sort of visual spend or photo spend feature on 1mdc.com's money-like product. Example, http://interestingsoftware.com/temp/features.html Thus, say you are doing a spend, for example: on the CONFIRM page of a spend, it would show a photo of the human the gold is coming from and a big arrow pointing to a photo of the human the spend is going to. All comments are much appreciated! {Actually, if you are a 1mdc.com user, if you log-in at the moment, the system is collecting photos by upload of each user, for just such an eventuality.} (Incidentally the above shows what the account info page on 1mdc-money is going to look like...and that look is super-simple-streamlined. If anyone wants to comment on that too, great!) --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: archive@jab.org To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Did you know that the new e-gold Secure Random Keypad can help you to protect your passphrase from both keystroke mouse- click sniffing trojan viruses? I'm pretty sure anyone worried about them, or about facial recognition technology in general, would use an altered photo. Even people who are *not* worried about thugs with/without uniforms might be tempted to use photographs of good-looking others, right? I think it will be a fun thing for this community to put peoples' names to faces (voluntarily, of course!). I'm also working on something like that, so please stay tuned. [e-gold-list] e-Currencies on MiningWeb
Tim Woods at MiningWeb has done it again. In an article posted last night, in reference to ...an effective parallel private gold standard..., he says: The digital gold currencies that have sprung up spontaneously to service Internet commerce are remarkably similarity to Hazlitt's ideas. These projects allow the practical ownership of physical gold with little risk and almost no government interference. It is the ultimate private hard money made more stable by the rejection of fractional reserve lending by the gold banks backing the currencies. http://www.mips1.net/MGGold.nsf/Current/4225685F0043D1B285256AA600713F03?OpenDocument You may have to cut and paste this URL Dave --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: archive@jab.org To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Did you know that e-gold Ltd. stores more gold on behalf of customers than many countries? PECUNIX Incorporated achieves a strategic alliance coup with Australia Fair International Limited. Simon Davis, CEO of Pecunix Incorporated today announced that Pecunix has successfully negotiated a strategic alliance with Australia Fair International Limited. We see this as an extremely positive development for Pecunix; it aligns perfectly with the Pecunix policy of excellence in transparency, security and innovation commented Davis. In effect, this alliance will enable the complete separation of the functions of Currency Issuer (Pecunix Incorporated) and Gold Custodian (Australia Fair) and create a highly secure arrangement. The Pecunix gold will be stored as LBMA good delivery bars in audited, allocated storage. Movements of gold, and currency minting functions, will come under the watchful eye of both an Escrow Agent and Third Party Custodian (European Trust Company Limited) and a firm of International auditors (to be advised). Australia Fair International Limited (AFIL) is the sole issuer of the Gold Heritage Certificate worldwide. Since its formation in 1997, Australia Fair (http://www.austfair.com.au) has earned a solid and prestigious acceptance as a reputable source of strategic intelligence and unique precious metals with a reputation that spans the world. The Pecunix alliance with Australia Fair brings integrity to the Pecunix Governance Policy that is unsurpassed in the GBIC industry. Philip Judge, director of Australia Fair International Limited said, We at Australia Fair are always encouraged to see sectors of the business community demonstrate their confidence in the integrity of gold and silver. Pecunix is one such company and we welcome them into this unique arena. We are pleased to be working with them as they move forward to enter the rapidly growing market of Gold Backed Internet Currencies. Pecunix and AFIL customers will feel safer with this unique alliance, plus they will enjoy unique services that include efficient exchange between Pecunix currency and Australia Fair's highly secure Gold and Silver Heritage Certificates (http://www.goldheritagecertificate.com), gold and silver bullion coins, and other gold instruments or investments. Australia Fair will also make it easy and efficient to bail and redeem gold in exchange for Pecunix currency.
