[e-gold-list] Power for the People

2001-12-03 Thread C. Cormier - Ormetal Inc.

Yep. That is fine with me.

In the national currencies system, the denominations USD 5, USD
10, CAD 20 and the likes are the most common and most used,
simply because they pay easily for the price of the most common
item purchased on a daily basis, a meal. It make sense that in the
gold economy, the gram be the basic unit of account. We are on
the same scale of value here.

I dream of the day when I go to my favorite restaurant and tell
them, Pick up a gram on my gold card to pay for this.

I vote for this one.

I like option # 3. It doesn't clutter up the payment drop-down with a lot of
currencies, but will still allow those currencies to be brought up, should a
user wish to use one. Also, the 'GRAMS' option is first, as it should be.

[e-gold-list] Paritate Bank? Free Debit Card plus save $45 transfer fee!

2001-12-03 Thread Fidex Marketing

Anyone here with funds in Paritate? As from today, your online banking is working
again and you can move money out (based on your newly reduced balance).

To encourage you to move over to Fidex we are offering a FREE MAESTRO CARD (normal
printing fee waived) to any client sending us funds from Paritate. Fidex Maestro cards
work exactly the same as the old Paritate Maestro cards. Full details are on our site.

We have an additional advantage: if you convert your money to Lats and transfer it to
our Lat correspondent account, your transfer fee will be LVL 0.20 which is 31 US
cents. As opposed to $45 if you send a dollar transfer.

If you need any info on how to make this transfer, let me know. As soon as we receive
the Lats we will convert back to dollars and credit your card.

Regards
Nick
