[e-gold-list] Loyal Bank debit cards in the UK

2002-07-27 Thread itrustno1

Has anybody been able to use a Maestro card issued by Loyal Bank (or by
any bank..)at any UK store?
I have been travelling in uk for the last 3 weeks and have not found ONE
store to accept it. It worked fine at ALL ATM's I tried, but no store, not
even Harrods...

Anybody had any similar experience?

[e-gold-list] An Offshore Auction based on the use of E-gold

2002-07-27 Thread Fred Michaelis

Please help me with this. I think it is really neat that 180+thousand
people are now using E-gold. For my own reasons, I really want to see
this number grow. For it to grow the 180 thousand people should set an
example for the world to follow. It has been said, The sweetest revenge
on your enemy's is to live well. In the face of the stock market
crumbling, and non gold backed government notes, devaluation, the use of
E-gold could save civilized world, but we who know about it need to make
it's use as handy as possible, and the world must be made aware that
E-gold exist. 180 thousand people is a drop in the bucket when you
compare it to the world population. It is a start. We can not let E-gold
do anything but succeed. It is the hope of the world personified in gold.

That is why that my company is about to launch the world's first Offshore
Auction, based upon E-gold. You might observe that other Auction s do use
E-gold, but you do not hear about any of them being locating in tax
havens. Zauction Offshore is in a Tax Haven. You can read all about it's
mission statement, plus you can watch the videos at
http://zauctionoffshore.com

I am power of attorney for Zauction Offshore. My name is Fred Michaelis.
I work for Zauction Offshore by work contract as well as hold power of
attorney. I am not really sure who owns Zauction Offshore. The owner or
owners are anomous the same as the users of E-gold are anomous. I need to
have some feed-back from users of E-gold. For instance, does anyone know
if there are E-gold dealers that accept Money Gram as payment for E-gold.
Are there any dealers that will accept at low interest transaction fee,
the use of an absolutely guaranteed no charge back USA domestic debit
cards? I also need your help in suggestions about how to best spread the
word about the auction. All suggestions will be studied valued and
appreacated to the highest degree. I will answer everyone that I can
personally. If I get more suggestions that I can personally handel, I
will deal with it by some automated means but I will stay in touch with
anyone who can help me with these details.

The stated fact is that you work for this company, have power of
attorney and even call it ...my company..., and yet you do not know who
owns the company?

This is a serious red flag and does not reflect well on the business
image. In the interest of business transparency, there should be full
disclosure of ownership and location of the business offices. No way would
I trust such an anonymous business with my Gold!

[e-gold-list] RE: Loyal Bank debit cards in the UK

2002-07-27 Thread Fidex Marketing

Marco,

What do you mean they did not accept it? Did you try it in the
merchants' terminals and it was rejected, or did you not see the Maestro
logo? And are you referring just to Loyal Bank Maestro cards, or to
Maestro cards in general?

As far as I know most Maestro cards in the UK are issued under the
Switch brand. So any merchant that is equipped to take Switch cards
(which is basically the same thing as any merchant that takes Mastercard
and Visa) should accept Maestro cards. Maybe they just don't bother to
display the logo, I'm not sure...

There is one known problem, with Loyal Bank cards requiring a PIN number
at point of sale which is not usual in the UK where transactions are
authenticated only by signature. And merchants are not equipped with the
right equipment for the customer to enter the PIN number. But the only
place I heard of that problem occuring is in Estonia.

Regards,
Nick

We may have a better product for you. Try the disposable

These are good at any place where the Visa logo is displayed.
Up to $600 value on the card for $618.

[e-gold-list] World's second, you mean

2002-07-27 Thread Jim Davidson

Dear Fred,

That is why that my company is about to launch the world's
first Offshore Auction, based upon E-gold.

Dude, flattery is great, and imitation its highest form. But
you aren't first. http://GoldBarter.com/ is the first offshore
auction based on e-gold.

We are based in a free port. It is such a haven that the mere
concept of taxes is unknown there. I once tried to discuss the
concept of taxes with the locals, and it was terribly frustrating.
They don't grasp the notion.

I am not really sure who owns Zauction Offshore.

Well, groovy. I know who owns GoldBarter.com. Tristan Petersen,
Jim Davidson, John Kyle, and a handful of private investors with
trivial shares.

Suppose Zauction puts up a bunch of fake auctions? Purely as
a hypothetical. What recourse does an auction participant have
with your auction service?

if there are E-gold dealers that accept Money Gram as payment
 for E-gold.

Yes. Cambist.net has accepted MoneyGram as payment, but only
from extremely well established customers.

Are there any dealers that will accept at low interest transaction fee,
the use of an absolutely guaranteed no charge back USA domestic debit
cards?

You should contact http://cambist.net/ with the details. But,
really, no charge back is a chimera.

Regards,

Jim

Also the registry details show quite a spread around the world. from Texas

Certainly requires more information.

We also have a Auction for e-gold sales I believe run by JD ...correct me if
I'm wrong.
