After reading this, I came up with a modified idea that would be beneficial to the issuers of the digital gold as well as the merchants that accept them as payment for goods and services. Your original idea is an excellent one, in that, the account logout page could send account holders to a site... however, that might irritate some people. Taking and forcing a visitor/account holder to do something they did not choose is annoying to most, some could care less. To avoid the annoyance, I think it would be a wonderful idea for the issuers of the digital gold to place links on a logout page at their site. This gives the account holder the OPTION to choose... and it would be fair to the engine and directories supporting this great industry. For example: an account holder logs out of e-gold, GoldMoney, e-Bullion, Crowne Gold, and/or Pecunix and is presented with a page containing links to the engines, directories and lists that contain databases of sites accepting these digital gold payment options. There could be a link to GoldDirectory, Trils List, Garzoo, Bearerinstruments, BricksofGold, eCTA, CurrencyRegistry, and my favorite AmeriConn. :) This way, the issuers wouldn't have to worry about maintaining lists of sites that accept their payment system. They would only have to maintain a small list of directories and engines. No banners, no buttons, no graphics, just a text link with maybe a 100 char. description: AmeriConn - Digital Currency Search Engine Something to think about... I'm done brainstorming. :) TTFN...
