WestLand Resources, Inc. (WestLand) is an Environmental and Engineering
consulting company that conducts biological surveys across southern Arizona.
WestLand has several positions available for part time field botanists to
assist with plant surveys for a number of native plant species that occur in
the Sky Island Mountains of southern Arizona. 

WestLand is seeking applicants with majors in biology, botany, natural
resources, or related areas who have course work and/or field experience
appropriate for native plant surveys in southern Arizona. Field botanists
will be part of a team led by an experienced botanist. Candidates must have
demonstrable plant identification skills with native species in southern
Arizona, but species-specific training will also be provided. Fieldwork
requires good physical fitness and the ability to hike in rough terrain and
hot weather under challenging conditions at times.  

Work will be based out of Tucson, Arizona. Candidates should be available to
start work in mid-August, and be available through the end of September.
