I'm trying to identify a locally common species of damselfly in southern Virginia, but so far I'm stumped. I've been through every page of Dennis Paulson's field guide to Eastern odonata, but I haven't been able to find a match, and I'd appreciate hearing from someone who could provide an expert ID.
I can provide photos, a description of habitat and behavior, and one rather wizened specimen. If anyone is willing and able to help, please contact me off-list with my abundant thanks in advance. - J. A.
