Re: [ECOLOG-L] Percent cover flashcards
I recall there being something like this in the Munsell soils books for estimating proportion of coarse fragments. Here are two hits online (or google: "charts for estimating proportions of mottles and coarse fragments"): Page 21 (pdf page 27) in here: www.vliz.be/imisdocs/publications/217749.pdf Slide 86 in here: http://www.floridahealth.gov/environmental-health/onsite-sewage/training/_documents/1-soil-colors.pdf Good luck. [ECOLOG-L] Percent cover flashcards
Hello Ecolog community, In preparation for summer sampling, I'm looking for flashcards that show ways that percent cover can be distributed in a quadrat, i.e., 25% cover with clumped, random, and uniform distributions. Does anyone know of a source for this type of flashcard? Google searches are unfortunately not very fruitful. Best, - Evelyn Williams Chicago Botanic Garden Glencoe, IL
