Phantom references? - parthenogenesis? Dear Colleagues:
Yesterday, a librarian told me that one of the earliest references in parthenogenesis is a paper that does not exist (yes, you read it correctly, what the librarian called, a phantom reference). Yet, other researchers have cited this obviously without putting their hands on that paper. In any event, if you know of of this reference (or other such cases of notorious phantom references, not just typos), please feel free to send me an email off the list at blayjo...@gmail.com In gratefulness, Jorge P.S.
