Hello,

Last stable sources can be found here :
http://ekiga.org/index.php?rub=5&path=sources/sources

For CVS :
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/F.A.Q.:_Additional_Information

Win32 build :
http://snapshots.buildserver.net/win32.php

Even is I not part of ekiga devloppers, i'm very happy to see you wish
to work on win32 build.

Regard,
Yannick

the most convenient is to use http://snapshots.ekiga.net/cvs/ where we
have updated tarball checkouts from developer CVS. This at least for a
once-in-a-while processing does spare you all the problems of dealing
with the CVS and seeing the annoying delay from developer to anonymous
CVS from time to time.

For the Win32 build, I've had working scripts, yet right now they don't
really are up to date with latest CVS HEAD. Feel free to grab the copy
off http://snapshots.ekiga.net/win32.php and compare this with what
Michael Rickmann sent to this mailinglist. From there, we should seek to
include all remaining patches into the CVS HEAD and getting someone to
prepare this list and split out relevant patches as individual chunks
would probably help best.

Thanks.

Hi,

As a teacher, I deal with lots of questions, especially because my
students are 7 years old. I do not consider you as a child of course,
but IMHO what's stupid is not asking. :)
You're free to use any system you want, i wont force you to use mine. We
all have the right to choose what's fit best for our needs.

In this page, if it is what you ask about :
http://snapshots.buildserver.net/win32.php

At the botton you'll find this section "How we do all this?", wich
contains a script (Makefile) to build the win32 version. In this area
Kilian Krause is the author (I'm not 100% sure, but almost; anyway he is
on this list...) and the master. I do not know if this script is run
under Linux or windows to build the .exe using tools like gcc and
gnuwin32 ( http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/summary.html ). For further
help, it is best to ask Kilian. As stated in my first mail, i'm no
devlopper.

Direct link to the script :
http://snapshots.seconix.com/win32/ekiga_build.zip

Regards,
Yannick

I guess the most convenient until the "CVS problem" is solved is to use
the checkout tarball from:
http://snapshots.ekiga.net/cvs/ekiga-cvs.tar.gz

That one is constantly updated, so it should give you about the same
versions as a fresh CVS checkout. Latency may be up to an hour, but
you'll manage to sustain that, eh? ;)

For the win32 building, that script which was already mentioned is
updated already and I'm through till getting ekiga compile at last. If
anyone is interested, the updated version is at:
http://archive.buildserver.net/win32/ekiga_win32_build_20061023.tbz

That one should at least get you pretty well started in case you own a
linux shell to run this script set on.
