The only thing I can see from your log is that you were sending audio but receiving nothing. -- Damien Sandras Ekiga Softphone : http://www.ekiga.org NOVACOM: http://www.novacom.be FOSDEM : http://www.fosdem.org SIP Phone : sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list

[Ekiga-list] No video images from webcam in Ekiga for Windows
I was testing the Windows version of Ekiga. Before initiating a call, I selectedthe icon to "Display images from your camera device". During a call tosip:[EMAIL PROTECTED], where images from the webcam should appear, there appeared a solid green screen/image. The webcam I am using is aLogitech Quickcam Communicate STX. I used a shareware program called 263Set to test the webcam. This program uses "Video for Windows/Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32)" to captureimages from a webcam like Ekiga does. The program displayed images fromthe webcam. Is there something I need to do to get Ekiga to display the video images fromthe webcam?I downloaded the Windows version of Ekiga from: http://snapshots.voxgratia.org/win32.phpThanks. Re: [Ekiga-list] Abnormal Call Termination
Hello Damien, Thank you for responding! Here is the -d 4 output as an attachment. Tonight was the first night that I was able to make a call, however, when I finally got through, although the person on the other end could hear me I could not hear them. I was also only able to do this once. The -d 4 output kept reading " SIP Handler:86dlc08 STUN could not create socket pair!". When I tried to hange up ctrl+D, nothing happend, I had to force quit the application. Does any of this make sense? [Ekiga-list] Call latency
Hi. I just read a comment by Damien that dmix causes quite a bit of latency, so I tried turning it off by selecting the "ATI IXP" device (the name of my sound card) instead of the "Default" device and the difference was very noticeable. I don't have any hard numbers, but roughly speaking the latency went from "annoying" to "insignificant". Is there anything that can be done about the dmix latency? Are the alsa developers aware of the problem? - Johan ___ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list
