I still wonder why you are getting, sometimes, sound problems. Please
continue testing and report back later. You could also try using
"Default" or direct access to your soundcard in the audio devices
settings.

Ask them the reason why it shows as inactive :
Either the provider is blocking inbound calls, or there have been 5 or
more unsuccessful calls in a row (in this latter case, the first
successful call resets the status back to green.)

I wonder what extension they did call. [EMAIL PROTECTED] is of course only
open to Ekiga.net subscribers, but other extensions are available to
everyone.

[Ekiga-list] Feature request: ZRTP support

Hi,

could you please add ZRTP support to Ekiga?

There is a SDK at http://zfoneproject.com/prod_sdk.html.
But I don't know which license will be available for OSS projects.

I guess the main problem is "time" as usual.

Does Ekiga use "GNU ccRTP" or is RTP function included in OPAL or PWLIB?

It is included in PWLIB.

I think Craig is working on SRTP / ZRTP support for OPAL.

The network stack is PWLIB/OPAL/EKIGA. I don't know exactly where RTP
is, but the basic socket abstraction is in pwlib and the codecs in opal.

I'm working on ZRTP integration into OPAL. I'm hoping to have it
finished in the next few weeks.

Please be patient :)

I'm talking with Phil Zimmermann (the creator of ZRTP) and the license
issues will be resolved by the time the integration is complete

[Ekiga-list] Luc, I need help!

2007-02-26 Thread George Boyd
Hi Luc,

I'm trying to build the RPM's for the CVS version of Ekiga. I got the
spec files that Johnny used and modified them to make the current CVS
RPM's. But there is something I'm doing wrong. It builds the source
fine, but it's crapping out trying to make the src and executable rpm's

I was wondering if you could send me the SPEC files you're using for
2.05 and maybe I can find where I've made my mistake.

Thanks,
George

Thanks. Finally, after sending him a strong mail, this person has
explained that he was just trying to find somebody to test ekiga ...
My wife received a lot of calls in two days from this person. This is
why we imagined the worst.

Even if it seems to be a false alarm here, a blocking filter would
indeed be a very good thing for next ekiga versions.
Happy to see that you work on it. You do a great job guys! Thank you for
that.

Best,
Laurent
