Not yet, but we are working on it.

Can you test your audio and video quality by calling [EMAIL PROTECTED] ?

Once we are sure that works, then you can start calling your sister.

Ekiga 2.0.7 works fine, it seems. echo test from [EMAIL PROTECTED] is ok.
I called my sister: now she can hear me with good quality but her voice on my
end was choppy and very hard to understand. I know now that's because of the
snapshot version of ekiga-win32.
I'm patiently waiting for ekiga-win32 version 2.0.7.

I noticed that ekiga 2.0.7 uses a low-resolution video, version 2.1.0 (when it
comes out) will have a larger resolution, right?

I wrongfully thought that the daily cvs snapshot version would be usable. I
should have known that it is full with bugs and constant in development.
Sometimes I can be very stupid.

Damien and others, thank you very much for your work!

Dieter

You don't know a GTK+ coder by chance? ;-)

They are usable and certainly not full with bugs, but they are far from
perfect as it is a work in progress.

I'm cc'ing Luc Saillard, an expert in terms of video and V4L2 ;-)

I found a solution on mailing-list
https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/linux-uvc-devel/ :
the only way is to reset camera, either by calling usb_reset_device() or by
unplugging the cord.
The USB Logitech webcams appear to have a hardware bug (something about usb
timings) and as far as I understand it, there isn't a workaround for it.
Unplugging the cord of my webcam I can do but I'd like to know with what
command i can do a usb_reset_device().

I guess some experts on linux-uvc are Laurent Pinchart and Evgeny.

Yes, sure !

Help is welcome in various areas of Ekiga.

The best to do is often to join #ekiga on irc.gnome.org to be part of the
community of developers.

I think that bug is simple : I think it just means that when you remove an
account from the UI, the account is not unregistered.

Thanks for your help proposition !
