[Ekiga-list] H.264 for H.323
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction where th codecs are loaded into ekiga. I know that H.264 is only supported for SIP but I wanted to enable it for H.323. I have already got the H.264 codec running in OpenMCU but I don't have a client to connect to it. It would be ideal if I could use the same library for both the client and MCU so that they are compatible. [Ekiga-list] not registered
I have Ekiga on Ubuntu 8.04 installed on 64bit dual core system. I have gotten my sip number .but Ekiga reads ( standby and registered accounts 0 ). I registered on line and tried again in accounts but accounts show registration failed. There is another problem, that may be involved, in first time registration window. I am using default audio input and outputbut did not get any sound return when speaking into microphone. My son looked me up by my sip and found me there so that would seem to indicate ,I guess, that I am registered but was unable to call me. I have a realtech microphone that is plugged in. I tried sound recorder and it does not record from the mic. OOps went to volume control and found front mic turned off. Tturn it on and now can record sound. But still need help with Ekiga. Maybe something at Ekiga-net (the server you register at) is wrong with the user account or similar. [Ekiga-list] Ekiga won't work
I have four friends that have installed Ekiga on Microsoft Windows because I asked them to so we can talk. They are all asking if Linux is so great why won't Ekiga run in it. I need to get registered but am having no luck at all. Will someone in the know give me a hand here.
