[Ekiga-list] Bug with video mode in-picture
Hi, I experience a bug with the video mode in-picture with two graphic chipsets (perhaps graphic drivers) that are Intel 855 and Via UniChrome (VT82xxx) (both drivers from X.org, intel and via). The bug: the video is flipping like crazy, and if the app isn't kill quickly the whole box can freeze. I checked the debug output level 1 for GMVideoOut, but it is not interesting. Are you aware of such an issue? Can I provide debug information? Cheers Mike ___ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list

[Ekiga-list] ekiga 3.0.0 win32 build, (no rule to make target ptlib_ptlib.pc.in) *solution*
Following the instructions at http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Cross-compile_Win32_3.0, I encountered the following problem while performing a 'make'. touch /tmp/ekiga-3.0.0/win32/lib/libexpat.a make: *** No rule to make target `/tmp/ekiga-3.0.0/win32/diff/ptlib_ptlib.pc.in', needed by `/tmp/ekiga-3.0.0/win32/ptlib/configure'. Stop. I am not sure which is the appropriate fix, but the problem is that there is no ptlib_ptlib.pc.in. Rather there is a ptlib_pwlib.pc.in. Hi, Hi Mike, there are two things you can do about the flickering: a) send me a ekiga -d 4 debug output with the flickering Find the attached file. Hope this helps. b) turn of HW acceleration by enabling the following gconf key: /apps/ekiga/general/user_interface/video_display/disable_hw_accel Works fine on the Via board, I don't know for the intel 855 (I might have tried it, not sure, I will let you know).
