[Ekiga-list] Ekiga crashes after Ubuntu upgrade.
Ekiga crashes after an upgrade from Ubuntu8.10 to 9.04 Most of the time directly after starting up the program After starting the program the led of the webcam (Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000) switches on for a short while, then the program crashes. Update: There's an ongoing conversation about this at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/opal/+bug/316971. bobo42 has uploaded plugins to his PPA https://launchpad.net/~bojo42/+archive/ekiga that have gotten my system to recognize the h264 and iLBC codecs. It's obvious when running Twinkle since the yellow star turns gray when it's not registered to any server. I guess Bojo42 PPA would have the missing codecs. https://launchpad.net/~bojo42/+archive/ekiga I did not try it and don't know if it would work ..
