I'm currently unfortunately out of ideas. You can open a bug report, but
it won't be resolved before I get new ideas.

Can you post somewhere a full -d 4 output with the problem occuring and
indicate us when the problem starts occuring?

Thanks,

I tried another softphone (X-Lite v2.0) and I was able to both make and
receive calls without a problem so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the
BroadVoice service or my hardware. However, I would much rather use Ekiga
and I am eager to do what I can to help get this resolved. Should I open a
bug report on bugzilla at this point or wait until I have more specific
information regarding the problem? Is this discussion more appropriate on
the ekiga-devel list?

It is set to 3600. At least, that is what I see under the More Options area

Everything looks correct, except one thing: why is your REGISTER timeout
set to 30 seconds?

It should be set to 3600.

If you set it to 30, Ekiga will not have the time to refresh in time,
and the registration will expire before it is renewed. In that case, the
caller will be redirected to the voicemail as, technically, you are not
registered anymore.

Thanks for the netstat help. I'm running Ekiga on the development version of
Ubuntu Edgy Eft. Not sure what SELinux stuff is enabled (if any). There is
no software firewall running but I am behind a router.

Below is a link to more debug output that shows Ekiga accepting the first
few incomming calls but after that it no longer displays the incomming call
message. The calls start to go immediately to voice mail:
http://pastebin.ca/185306

The line in the above output that interested me was this:

"2006/09/28 16:14:54.733 1:24.827Opal Listener:8379af8 Listen UDP
select error: Interrupted system call"

That message seems to occur right before the incomming calls start being
ignored.

Here is the output of netstat when Ekiga is able to accept calls:
http://pastebin.ca/185293

And here is the output of netstat when Ekiga is _not_ able to accept calls:
http://pastebin.ca/185294

I hope this helps.

I keep getting the same results. I can receive 2 or 3 inbound phone calls

Does it receive the INVITE message?

If so, can you point where in the log it is being received?

[Ekiga-list] cannot receive incomming telephone calls

2006-09-26 Thread Sick Twist
I'm still having problems with Ekiga and BroadVoice. Sometimes when Ekiga v
2.0.3 is running (in available mode) and an incomming call is made from a
landline, Ekiga just ignores the call and the call rolls over to voicemail.
Other times the first incomming call can be accepted but additional calls
cannot be answered.

Here are the last 6 bytes (pastebin.ca limit) of the debug output. In
this log, Ekiga can accept calls at first but then it ignores them:
