What are the units of geohash_precision when no unit is explicitly specified?
The docs currently state<http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/mapping-geo-point-type.html> : If you enable the geohash option, a geohash “sub-field” will be indexed as, eg pin.geohash. The length of the geohash is controlled by the geohash_precision parameter, *which can either be set to an absolute length (eg **12**,* the default) or to a distance (eg 1km). When you set geohash_precision to "an absolute length", what units are you setting it to? Meters? This seems like such a simple question that I bet I'm missing something.
