Good Evening, Conditions were a bit better on 20 meters. Both bands had moderate QSB. Signals were stronger on 20 while the noise was stronger on 40. I keep imagining a time when propagation will be better. The weather is mild, I have the parts, it is time to craft and hang another doublet. [Elecraft] K3 audio problem
Hi I have a strange problem with my K3/100. The audio through the internal speaker is low, but comes up much stronger with any slight movement of the volume knob. Then it goes back down again, often accompanied by a brief HI-CUR warning. Also when AGC is turned off, audio is almost zero. But, with the SP3 external speaker plugged in, the problem goes away! Any insights much appreciated. [Elecraft] No receive upon power-up
Just before a contest this weekend I turn on my K3 and heard no signals on any band! Power was okay, antenna connected, etc. Longer story, shortened I switched off the K3 then powered up againthen all was well... everything working normally. This has never happened before here.
