[Elecraft] KX3 for Sale UK
*Elecraft KX3 - Fully loaded plus Wonder Wand Wideband antenna.* Serial Number 2657, bought from W&S fully assembled. As well as the Basic KX3 it has the following fitted ·Roofing filter KXFL3 ·Auto ATU KXAT3 ·NiMH charger & clock KXBC3 Complete with MH3 microphone & KXUSBA interface lead and fitted with a set of High Capacity NiMH cells. Latest firmware upgrade loaded and in excellent clean working condition with original box & manual. I will provide a power lead with correct DC plug and the psu end terminated in 4mm plugs plus a BNC to SO239 adaptor. Reason for sale is deteriorating health - means I won't be able to get out and about as much in future - and also won't be able to get the 100W linear to use as a base station. I have used this a few times parked in a noise free country park with a whip antenna on the car with very good results considering the power but never used the Wonder Wand! Mainly used as a receiver at home - excellent filtering - as I've a very noisy urban location. If you collect I'll throw in a dedicated stand and a Watson SP-180A amplified speaker or these will be sold separately. K3/100 serial #03532 in excellent condition Purchased as Factory assembled direct from the US in June 2009. Fitted with the following from the start ATU KBPF3 General Coverage Module 13kHz FM roofing filter 6kHz 8 pole AM roofing filter 2.8kHz 8 pole roofing filter 1.8kHz 8 pole roofing filter 400Hz 8 pole roofing filter Also with a MH2 Hand microphone which has had very little use as I built a desk microphone system to use. Complete with original manual and packaging. Latest versions of software installed last week. Reason for sale is the noise level at my QTH has been steadily increasing and with a tiny garden in a heavily built-up area it's not going to get any better so the radio is getting very little use and I'm more often working from my car parked up in a local country park with very little noise using my KX3. Buying in the UK from W&S would cost £3404 so looking for £2500 ovno plus delivery or you could come & try it and have a free coffee. As a new K3 owner (1 month) I've just done my 1st upgrade using the K3 utility. WOW! So simple and easy, no problems J A bit different from my experiences with my previous radio (FT2000).
