Re: [Elecraft] K3 sub receiver no signals
This thread is a bit old, may have been solved. In case it was not, I had a similar problem getting sub Rx to work and it was cockpit error. Try holding *A/B* button to get *BSET*, then look in display at what antenna is selected. If different from MAIN ANT or what you want it to be, push *ANT* button until you get what you want. - 73 de KK7EL Bruce -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-sub-receiver-no-signals-tp7558455p7581394.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Elecraft] KX3 Backpack Recommendations
Thinking I need a backpack for my KX3. I see PowerPort has World Pack II, but am wondering if anyone has recommendations based on hands on experience. - 73 de KK7EL Bruce -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/KX3-Backpack-Recommendations-tp7568384.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Thanks Wayne! I look forward to seeing what comes out of it. 73 de KK7EL Bruce On 09/20/2012 12:12, wayne burdick [via Elecraft] wrote: It may be possible to remote the KAT500 with additional control firmware and an appropriate weather-proof enclosure. Re: [Elecraft] K3 macro to put ATU in norm/bypass mode
Wayne's macro for ATU inline and bypass helped me easily go back to QRP or 100w after switching off the KPA500 (already had a macro on PF1/PF2 for 5w and 100w, just could not figure out how to handle ATU definitively.) I would like to find a way to automatically place ATU in bypass when the KPA500 is placed in OPERATE as I seem to forget to bypass ATU about half the time when firing up the KPA500 to grab a DX. Anyone know how to automatically bypass ATU when KPA500 is placed in OPERATE? - 73 de KK7EL Bruce -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K3-macro-to-put-ATU-in-norm-bypass-mode-tp7325892p7556613.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Elecraft] KXPA100 Schedule
Anxiously awaiting my KX3, but meanwhile am also wondering when Elecraft will be taking orders for KXPA100 and what the price target is. Also interested in knowing how the PA connects to KX3: separate outboard BNC jumper or via onboard connectors. - 73 de KK7EL Bruce -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/KXPA100-Schedule-tp7348993p7348993.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Elecraft] KPA500 AUX button and RJ-45
Just built my KPA500 and cannot find any info in manuals about the *AUX* button (in band selection area just below *1.8* and to left of *5*). I am guessing it is for a future band or function. Anyone know for sure? Also, there is an RJ-45 jack at bottom of front panel at right side, aligned about where the *ON* button is located. Used for what? 73 de KK7EL Bruce - 73 de KK7EL Bruce -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/KPA500-AUX-button-and-RJ-45-tp7269725p7269725.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
