[Elecraft] No Modulation
My K2/100 has stopped modulating. I left home this winter without the manual. I'm afraid my monkeying with the various menu settings may have disabled something. I wonder if someone may have a fix. Is there a reset. [Elecraft] K24U Software
I'm trying to use the K24U software to operate my K2/100 and having problems getting connected. Im using an older DELL Inspiron/5100 w/XP Pro. When I click Connect... I get a window that sez K2 communication Link Has Been Reset. I click OK but get no joy. When I try to choose a different com port I get the same window and when I click OK .. another window pops up that sez Invalid Procedure Call or Argument and then I have to reboot. If you cant tell... Im not computer literate. Anyway... any suggestions that would be helpful are appreciated. IM THINKING OF ADDING THE 100W AMP TO MY K2 SR# 6324... CAN SOMEONE EDIFY ME ON IT. I BOUGHT THE K2 ALREADY ASSEMBLED .. NEAT RIG... BUT WOULD LIKE A LITTLE MORE JUICE ONCE IN A WHILE... AM I RIGHT THAT:1. I WILL NEED A PWR SUPPLY ..I IMAGINE THE ANSWER TO THAT IS OBVIOUS OF COURSE. TAKES A COUPLE AMPS TO GET 100W.. THATS OK ...2. CAN YOU SWITCH BETIX QRP/BATTERY OP... THEN TO 100W WITH POWER SUPLY. SIMPLY !!!.3. HAS ANYONE DRIVEN A BIGGER HI PWER AMP (i.e. ameritron) WITH A K2 100.? ...AND HAS THAT WORKED OK? ... ... IM LIVIN IN A RV AWAY FROM MY HOME QTH DIGS WILL NEED SOMEONE TO DO THE WORK.. IN A COUPLE MONTHS..
