[Elecraft] How to keep track of grid squares logged?

Is there a web tool or spreadsheet available somewhere that allows you to conveniently keep track of which ones you?ve worked? Re: [Elecraft] KPOD RIT/XIT
Don, Turned off VFO OFS, but the XIT/RIT tuning from the K-POD is still erratic. Thanks for the suggestion. Try turning VFO OFS to OFF and see if the K-Pod RIT/XIT selection adjusts RIT properly. If that fixes it, of course that is likely a bug, but at least you will know what is causing it. I have not heard any other reports of abnormal behavior with the K-Pod and RIT/XIT, and I have monitored the K-Pod Field Test comments. 73, Don W3FPR On 7/10/2016 4:00 PM, Frank Westphal wrote: I have noticed one issue with my K-POD. It will tune some but not consistently. Turning the RIT/XIT control from the front panel of the K3 works normally. VFO A and VFO B respond to turning the knob on the K-POD normally. With the rocker switch in XIT/RIT position on the K-POD and the K3 RIT/XIT function turned off then the K-POD tuning knob adjusts VFO A in coarse mode. This is normal for the way I have the K3 programmed. I assume this must be a bug in the 5.50 beta firmware which I have installed. As a side note installing the surface mount resister in the K3 is not for those inexperienced in micro soldering. [Elecraft] Split N/A
Every time I change modes from CW to RTTY or RTTY to CW I get the Split N/A error message. I do not get this message when changing modes from CW to SSB or SSB to CW. Since I am primarily a DXer who works split having to change from split operation before mode change and then change back to split operation requires a whole lot of button pushing. This is extremely annoying almost to he point of considering selling the K3. Elecraft told me this was for my own protection. I don't need a company to tell me this is for my own protection and not willing to make a product easy to operate. I hope someone out there is radio land has a firmware fix for this annoying issue. Otherwise I have enjoyed operating the K3 for the last year. Thanks in advance. [Elecraft] Sub Receiver RTTY Decode
I am using a Navigator interface with an Elecraft K3. The Navigator is connected to the K3 with a factory made cable. The system works great on channel one with HRD/MMTTY/MixW software. I would like to be able to decode RTTY received on VFO B of the K3 when working DX split. The K3 line out has the right channel as VFO B audio and the Navigator cable has a wire for channel 2. I have tried MMTTY selecting the right channel on the options misc menu. I have also tried MixW using the /2 parameter when launching the program for 2 channel operation. HRD shows a left and right channel on the sound card screen but I don't see any way to set it in the program options. No matter what program or options I try adjusting, the channel 2 control on the Navigator does not cause the audio on channel 2 to increase from zero. I don't know if the Navigator channel 2 is broken or if I am missing something in the setup or is it just not possible to do what I am trying to do. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who have successfully set up a Navigator and K3 to decode RTTY from VFO B on channel 2. 73, Frank K6FW __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Elecraft] Rose's Covers Cases Gift Certificate
I won a $50 dollar gift certificate from Rose's Covers Cases at the 2011 Visalia International DX Convention Top Band Dinner. I can not use the certificate and speaking to Rose at the convention she suggested someone else in the Elecraft community could redeem the certificate as it is transferable. (My name is not on the certificate). If interested please email me directly with an offer. Thanks for reading this post.
