Re: [Elecraft] T1 not tuning

2022-04-27 Thread Fred VE3FAL
I changed the battery out and still the same issue from 6-80m. Tuner just stays
on yellow light. Have tried bypass off and on and still seems like same results.

[Elecraft] T1 not tuning

2022-04-26 Thread Fred VE3FAL
I had just read a post from someone who said their T1 had quit tuning. I pulled
mine out of my qrp go-bag only to find mine has also stopped tuning. Now, with
that being said. I have not changed the battery out for a new one as of yet.
But wondering if the other person who had issues came to a resolve?

Back in 1995 during the Nordic Games here in Thunder Bay I was using my parents
Ford SUV and using a 2 meter handheld and the vehicle was surging faster as I
talked. When I would unkey the vehicle would go back to normal.

I have done the same going across the Pigeon River Border to MN. That piece of

Snow static as well during blizzards do wonders to light up a neon bulb. I used
to put one between my long-wire and ground, even wind when it would get a good

[Elecraft] K1 4 bander issue

2018-08-04 Thread Fred VE3FAL
I just acquired a K1 4 bander from a ham in Ottawa. It has 40,30,20 and 15
meters in it. All bands operate and function as they should except for 30
meters. Have done some searches on this possible issue but nothing solid as of
yet. Anyone have a starting point where I might look to see or find the issue.

Cheers

[Elecraft] K2 Alignment

Is there anyone in Canada or Ontario for that matter who will do the
alignment and testing of a K2.. I really don't want to send it Stateside for
customs reasons, I hate arguing over warranty, repairs etc with them when I
already paid for an item..

Thanks

[Elecraft] K2/100 with tuner and more for sale or trade for loaded KX3

2013-11-27 Thread Fred VE3FAL
I am not the original builder/owner of this radio but purchased this and
have not used it as I am busy playing pedestrian mobile with my backpack rig
and having more enjoyment outside.

This is an Elecraft K2/100 watt version fully loaded.

It also comes with the KAT100 autotuner. This has the 160 meter add on, SSB
add on, DSP, real time clock and much more.

KSB2 SSB adaptor 2.04 firmware Split RIT/XIT mod

Temperature compensated PLL Upgrade KAF2 KDSP2 KNB2 (Noise Blanker)

All kinds of mods and documentation to go with it and I am sure I missed
listing some of them

Also RS232 cables for tuner/PC etc

Hand microphone as well

Has Anderson power pole connector mod on radio, and I made a cable to power
tuner from radio instead of another source

Serial number 01967

HS-01E Headset Adaptor and a pile of documentation

Shipping approx $75.00 with insurance

Had rig operating on all bands and tuner works well and quick, just no time
to use it

Radio will come in aluminum briefcase, all acc. are also in case.

All kinds of documentation

Please email for price

Pictures available upon request:

Thanks

Fred VE3FAL
