[Elecraft] KX3 4m-Band Bandlimits
Hi fellow elecrafters, 1. I am using my KX3 for the new 4-m-band (new in Germany!). I have a problem with the band-limit. In the future there will be a 4m-band from 69.9 to 70.5 MHz in region 1. When sending below 70 MHz (dummyload, hi) the message band end appears. Not so with my K3. Would a new firmware-release help? 2. It would be nice to have a transverter IF of 10 MHz analog to the K3 for my 472 kHz-transverter. Then I have not to change PWR to 0.1 Watts when I QSY to MW. [Elecraft] 10 MHz Transverter Band IF for K3
Hi, I would like to have this also for my KX3. I am using my KX3 with a transverter for 630m. [Elecraft] KX3 Firmware 1.61 High Current / Low Power at 12m

Criticism: At 12m the output power gets reduced to 5W even without this message. This happens with ATU tuned to a SWR of 1/1.2 as well as without ATU at an SWR 1/1.4 then. [Elecraft] K2,K3,KX3 IF-QRG for XVerter for 630m Band
Hi Elecrafters, I'm using a transverter for the new 630m-Band in Europe. This transverter has an LO on 10 MHz. It works well on the 10 MHz-band but not in the transverter-mode of the K2,K3 or KX3 because their firmware will not allow to set the XVn IF parameter to 10MHz. [Elecraft] K3 and Expert 1K-FA
Hi Gary, I'm using since more than thee years the combination K3 - Expert 1K-FA. *I never use the ALC-connection*, but of course the band-information. That is more importand As Don said this would cause distortion at the beginning af each transmission. I simply adjust the K3-Power-Gain to 15 to 20 watts. If You schould forget the powersetting, no problem, the Expert switches down, gives a warning signal and a diagnosis on its display. I'm very content with that nice PA. btw it works well also with my beloved K2 (with KRC2). [Elecraft] K2: K2 #7029 is alive and well
Hi elecrafters After three weeks of building my new K2 #7029 is alive and well. The building went straight and without any proplems, thanks to the excellent manuals from Elecraft. The K2 #7029 is fully equipped with 100w, SSB, DSP, NB, 60m and 160m. It reminded me about my Heath HW 101 some 40 years ago. All was real fun. hi, fellow elecrafters, if you should have a problem with the 13 kOhm resistor, take two. 47k in parallel with an 18kOhm resistor, both SMD, solded together as piggyback onto the solderpads.
