[Elecraft] KX2 578
Arrived today! Thanks to Elecraft for a great product and thanks for great packaging as the box looked like UPS kicked it all the way here. Radio is smaller than I remembered from Dayton but then I really didn't get a good look there because of the crowds. Joins big brothers KX3 and K3 - I guess it is true - you can't have too many radios - especially if they are Elecraft. This one is another winner! Original owner - non-smoker - worked fine for me but bought a Begali Adventure (fantastic key) so now this is excess to my needs. [Elecraft] Got me - great marketing?
Well I just heard about the KX3 in March - placed an order 3/31 only to hear the dreaded 90 - 120 days - signed onto this group and such a friendly and enthusiastic group I was hooked - have always heard such great things about Elecraft but it took this to convince me to sell some stuff including my well loved 1000MP and some other stuff and today I had enough to order a K3-100 also! Now I have 2 kits to look forward to! Thanks to all - I've learned a lot already. Well I went and did it! Just ordered my KX3 - been saving my pennies and selling some stuff - now just a matter of time.
