Re: [Elecraft] KTS1 K1 Tilt Stand
Hello: I had the KTS1 Tilt Stand for the K1 a few years ago. I think if you look at the bottom cross piece you will see a few tapped holes. The long tilt stand pieces store there horizomtally. There should be a few of the thumb screws in those holes to secure. Yours may be missing. Hope this helps. 73 -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/KTS1-K1-Tilt-Stand-tp7558125p7558309.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Elecraft] K2 External Speaker
Hello: The best speaker I found for my K2 in the shack is the Heathkit HS-1661 that goes with DX-60 and many of the other Heathkit radios. Somehow, over the years others have found it quite suitable for service other than Heathkit radios. Nice full bodied sound and tone. 73: Joe -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K2-External-Speaker-tp7376263p7383221.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Elecraft] K2 and USB to Serial for Radio Control
Hello: I've done some research on this reflector but I'm still a bit confused. I'm planning on purchasing a Laptop and I'm a bit concerned about being able to interface the computer with no serial port with my K2. I am presently running HRD which works well with my shack computer with a serial port. Are there any plug and play adapters for this which are safe?? I do not want to fry anything in a perfectly working K2. Thanks to all for any help. 73 Joe -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K2-and-USB-to-Serial-for-Radio-Control-tp5232156p5232156.html Sent from the [K2] mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Elecraft] K2 and USB to Serial for Radio Control
Wow . . . Thanks for all the replys in such a short time. I now feel comfortable in trying some of the USB to Serial cables. I have the required Elecraft cable in place on my computer in the shack, and in fact have the extra components to make up a second cable. I'll make sure that the USB to Serial adapter will be plugged into the computer end. Thanks to all that replied. 73: de KD2JC/Joe -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/K2-and-USB-to-Serial-for-Radio-Control-tp5232501p5232501.html Sent from the [K2] mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Elecraft] DM780 Crash with Windows Vista Home Premium
Frank: I've been using DM780 Ver 4.0 build 1848 for digital modes for a few years now with no problem. I run Windows Vista Home Premium also.
