[Elecraft] W2 control wire length?
Hi, I have a W2 with an HF coupler and I am entertaining the idea of putting it out in a waterproof container just before the feed-point of my antenna (non-resonant vertical). The run is about 75’. Does anyone know if there is a limit on the cable length? If so, what is it? [Elecraft] Strange SWR and W2 wattmeter issue
Good evening OM’s Here is a link to a YouTube video that shows you what is happening. This is an issue need I am trying to fix. A pure CW carrier and a transmission using FT8 on 2M SSB show GREAT SWR with my TS2000, TE Systems 200W brick, and M2 2 meter 7 element Yagi. Using two different SWR meters (MFJ 259b and an FA-VA5) shows a nearly perfect 1.1:1 SWR as well. I am stumped and hope one of you might have an idea for me.
