[Elecraft] K2 top cover accessories FS
Hello everyone, This is a re-post of my earlier message which drew no responses. I have a new K2 top cover for sale. It is equipped with a new KAT2 tuner and a KIO2 port attached in addition to the K2 speaker. The cover and all of its components work very well. All connecting cables and assembly manuals are included. My only reason for offering these components for sale is that my new KPA100 and KAT100 make them surplus to my needs. My asking price for the package is $150 plus shipping to your QTH. I guarantee your satisfaction and will happily refund your money if you are not satisfied. I will also consider selling individual components from the cover. Hello Everyone, Like Ken, I too am puzzled over the insufficient-audio issue with the K2. FWIW both of my K2s (one with a QRP lid, the second with the KPA100 lid) produce way more audio than I find necessary for my needs. I typically run both rigs with the RF Gain fully CW and the Audio Gain at about the 10AM position. Use of the DSP filters in the QRO rig will sometimes require a bit more Audio Gain, but not much. I also seldom use headphones. Most of my QSOs are in the CW mode. [Elecraft] Alinco DM-330MV...
My experience with this PS mirrors Craig's exactly. Seems to be a FB supply in my three years' experience with it. Steve Banks K0PQ ++ I'm using an Alinco DM-330MV switching power supply for my K2 with no problems. It has a control that allows me to move the frequency of any RFI I encounter from the supply, but I've never heard any.
