Let Elecraft alone. If they want rs232 vs USB so be it. Why be like the cheap
imitators.

I have to object to the course that this thread instantly turned to.
K2QI's very reasonable post reads (edited)

uoting Wayne: The KIO3's digital I/O module could be replaced with
ne that has USB rather than RS232 -- or better yet, both. We planned
or this.
Quoting K2QI
Just wanted to revisit this topic and find out if anyone has heard
nything more regarding a possible USB interface for the K3.

KR2Q comments:
or me, this should have been a simple matter of No, I have not heard
nything additional or Yes, it is still on the list.
Zombie Thread? Gosh. For cryin' out loudgive the guy a break!

2010-11-03 Thread Larry Purcell

Recently I experencied a common technical difficulty with my K2/100 which I
wll not go in to.. It would be to embarassing to dicuss what I did to such a
fine peice of equipment. I posted my problem on the reflector and was promply
contacted by Alan Wilcox.. We had a short chat and it was decided to send it to
him for repair. He is so wonderful and understanding. He repaired and fixed
the issues in less than 6 days. His hourly fee for repair is way within
reason.. I have it now on my station consol and it is purrying like a new born
kitten. Anyone with elecraft issues should surly seek his assistance.. Once
again Alan thank you very much.
