[Elecraft] K1 Keyer Problem...
Dear All, I am finding a problem with the keyer on my K1 that I just finished building. Sometimes when I press dot I get dash-dot (-.) instead (even if I never pressed dash before at all). Changing between A and B modes doesn't help. Did anyone got the same problem or has any idea of what is going on? Dear Jim and Leigh, Thank you very much for your fast and helpful replies! As you said the problem was with the paddle. After cleaning it and adjusting its tension, the problem faded away. I never had this problem with my usual keyer, and hence thought it could be something with the K1 MCU.
