[Elecraft] K3 ERR PL1 error
Hello All, When I turn on the sub-receiver on my K3 I get the momentary message ERR PL 1 on the sub-receiver display. I've run the synthesizer calibration on both synthesizers but still get the error. I've also performed the synthesizer ALC modification to both synthesizers but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas? [Elecraft] K3 AF / RF knob placement
I just noticed that the picture of the K3 on the Elecraft website shows the AF knob below the RF knob. In looking at my K3 I notice that the AF knob is now on top of the RF knob. [Elecraft] K3/100 #513 on the air
I had time to complete the calibration this morning. I'm extremely happy with the K3. SSB audio is assume. I especially like the LCD display. Appears to be much brighter and has better contrast than my Kenwood TS-2000. Congratulations to Eric and Wayne!! After about 5 hour of assembly K3 #513 came to life tonight. Except for being short a few screws everything went together per the manuals. [Elecraft] KRX3 2nd receiver
Does anyone know how difficult it will be to install the 2nd receiver (KRX3) after the K3 has been initially assembled? I'm just wondering if I should wait to build my K3 (scheduled to arriver in December) until after the KRX3 arrives in January.
