[Elecraft] FS: KPA100 and KAT100 in EC2 case
I have a KPA100 amp and KAT100 tuner mounted in an EC2 case. Units were built by me. Works fine, small scratches on rear of side panels (very minor). Reason for selling - have K3/100, don't need the power for the K2. $450, I ship CONUS. Thanks and 73, Mike, W1USN __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
RE: [Elecraft] OT Wullenweber Array
At one point we were talking about loading up the array in the 'Bullring' at FOSIF Rota, Spain. Cooler heads prevailed. 73 de W1USN Mike -Original Message- From: Glenn Maclean [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, November 30, 2006 9:03 PM To: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Elecraft] OT Wullenweber Array Hi Guys, A friend of mine told me about this and thought I would share it with the group. Point your Google Earth program to these coordinates: 61.264375 -149.851108334 You will be looking at one of the last remaining Wullenweber Arrays in the world. What is a Wullenweber Array you might ask. Go here for the explanation - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wullenweber I wish I had room in my back yard for one of these and hook my K2 up to it! RE: [Elecraft] WA3WSJ: DX Pileups
I try to be as polite as possible to offenders in the pile ups. I just don't log them. If the pile up gets too out of hand, I QRX and get a beer! A W6 kept calling and calling. The VK asked Are you on the East coast to which the response was You're 59 in California. The VK said Thank you. You are in the log. QRZ East coast only. And if anyone else wants to be in my log with a DO NOT QSL entry next to their callsign feel free to call me from anywhere other than the East coast of the US. The pileup became VERY well behaved after that. Haven't heard him do that in a long time and I don't know if that W6 ever was really blacklisted but when a DX station maintains discipline...all benefit. RE: [Elecraft] Re: IC-7800 vs K2
Let's not loose sight of the fact of the number of failed companies that tried to be everything to everyone. Elecraft has a nice nitch that they have deservedly carved out for themselves. Straying from that nitch by trying to compete with the rest of the crowd may not be in their best interests or ours. 73, Mike, W1USN K2 #1964 Boxford, MA USA [EMAIL PROTECTED] WN1DAE, WN1TPE, WA1TPE, NW1J, VE1/WA1TPE, DL/WA1TPE, G0/NW1J, EA7/NW1J, P4/NW1J, P4/W1USN, V31RN, 8P9CI, VP2ERN, V26NR, FS/W1USN, PJ8/W1USN, J75RN, J3/W1USN ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
