WHY UPDATED: Clarification about the KIO3. It is an A revision For Sale - Original owner / non-smoking environment K3 s/n 1193 Includes: 1. KPA3 100w internal amp 2. KIO3A CAT communications, digital I/O control, audio I/O for use with sound cards, dual speaker and headphone jacks, serial CAT, Aux connector 3. KXV3 RF I/O, RX antenna, XVTR connections, IF out 4. KAT3 ATU, AUX antenna input 5. KRX3 Sub Receiver (able to fully use Diversity RX) 6. KSYN3A (K3S) upgraded synthesizers in both main and sub 7. Roofing Filters a. Main: 2.7khz, 400hz, 250hz b. Sub: 2.7khz, 400hz 8. The following modifications / enhancements have also been installed a. Front panel Microphone Circuit Modification b. KI03 rev C upgrade (see above), K3IOBUFFKT c. 12VDC OUT current mod, KPA3 12V Sense Mod d. K3 VFO Tuning Noise Reduction e. IF Output Buffer Gain Modification f. DSP upgrade g. Audio Output Chip Protection Mod, K3 AF Output Mod Kit h. AF Stage Upgrade, Line Out and Speaker Amp i. CW Keying rise time mod, CWRTMDKT j. KRX3 Sub out connector, not installed / not needed but info and parts supplied k. KPA3 Power Connector Replacement - Gold Pin mod 9. All K3 and Option manuals as well as modification documentation 10. (4) Spare set of knobs for AF gain / RF gain 11. Spare B VFO tuning knob 12. Spare SO-239 with attached plug (plugs into KAT3) 13. Spare KI03A module set OTHER: 14. Small top cover scratch by middle rear screw about .25 inches long. (Pictures available on request) 15. Slight crack in VFO B knob repaired by Elecraft when in California for Gold Pin mod. (does not impact operation) a. NOTE: A spare knob will be supplied (also slight crack and also repaired by Elecraft) 16.
