[Elecraft] KX£ and AM
I know the KX3 was not designed for AM but has anybody had any success with it.My experience is no problems with receiving but poor audio on Transmit.Any comments from Elecraft or the Group would be much appreciated!?? Subject: KX3 on AM.Have posted several queries concerning the KX3 on AM with no response.I do have a use for AM (!) but the KX3 on transmit does a poor job on my setup.I have heard K3's which do sound good.Is there something I am doing wrong or is AM a future KX3 project? The KX3 does advertise AM as a mode! Any guidance would be much appreciated. [Elecraft] KX3 Power On and AM
I use my KX3 only in a fixed environment.The need to push two buttons for Power On can be rather awkward.I can see need in portable op but is there a work around for just one button Power On operation? [Elecraft] KX3 and AM mode
Enjoying my KX3 but it doesn't perform well in AM transmit mode unlike the K3.Low modulation problems.Anybody had experience with this? Would like to use AM at times as I could eliminate my AM station.Assume AM in the KX3 was not a primary design consideration.Have spoken with Customer Service but not much info.Comments anybody...
