[Elecraft] For Sale: Elecraft K2 - 10 Watt Version

2012-07-31 Thread ingerassociates
I recently purchased this K2/10 (S/N 1848) from the original owner/builder. It
is built with very good craftsmanship, and includes the noise blanker and 160-m
modules. Additionally, a partially built (90%) SSB module and an unbuilt ATU
module is included. The ATU module is missing several components and hardware,
all of which are readily and inexpensively available from Elecraft. I have
made a complete list of all the AWOL parts. I have a set of prewound toroids
from the “Toroid Guy” for the SSB and ATU modules that will be included in the
package (A $30 value by itself). All manuals are also included.

The radio looks great and is totally unmolested. The only problem is that the
display is off frequency by varying amounts depending on the band. I’m sure
that the frequency calibration procedure, as outline in the manual, will solve
this problem. I will also include an alternate calibration method passed on to
my by Gary Surrency of Elecraft.

Unfortunately family issues and work priorities would require me to “back
burner” the completion of the modules and tuning up the radio for several
months. I’m lucky right now to turn on my K3 for an hour or two a week.

The above package is available for $380 plus shipping. If interested please
contact me off-list at ingerassocia...@cox.net.
