Thanks, Geoffrey. I had an off-by-one problem. I'll get a new
revision out this week.

Interesting. I thought I broke the radio when it did the date/time flashing
last night. This list is always one step ahead of me.

The same phenomenon occurred here but if the date is set manually in the
K3's Config menu the Utility time update works ok.

Re: [Elecraft] [K3] Utility Date and Time

2009-12-27 Thread DL2FI_Peter
This happens allways if K3 has been set to European Date format dd.mm.yy

If I temporary switch to US date formate, I can store Date and time from the
PC. If I than go back to EU Date format, it´s ok.

Betreff: [Elecraft] [K3] Utility Date and Time

G'day,

Selected Date and Time: Current UTC date/time and K3 date/time
displayed.

Selected Apply: Date updated but the K3 display oscillates at a few
per second between date/time and the normal frequency displays.

I have just fixed a bug in this area. I will send you a new K3 Utility
when I return on Monday. As a workaround, set the K3 month and year to
some non-zero value before using this K3 Utility function.

[Elecraft] [K3] Utility Date and Time

2009-12-27 Thread Mike Harris
G'day,

Just installed a shiny new revision D main DSP board.

Date and time needs resetting so decided to use the utility Date and
Time configuration option.

Selected Date and Time: Current UTC date/time and K3 date/time
displayed.

Selected Apply: Date updated but the K3 display oscillates at a few
per second between date/time and the normal frequency displays.

Exiting the utility Date and Time option results in normal display
and the time is correct.

All firmware (3r68) was reloaded after installing the new main DSP
which has installed on it the sub RX DSP and DVR.

In other respects all seems to be working OK, just soak testing
before parcelling up the old DSP board.

The open mic transmission on 20M I mentioned last night seemed to be
someone listening to a repeater in the US - N3FCK/R or similar.

Regards,

Mike VP8NO
