Sorry to hear that. I spent a week on Midway after coming off a ship in 1967 waiting for a hop back to NAS Barbers Point. One night I went to the Club and met 4 guys with long beards. Coasties from the Loran station on Kure. This is off topic, but big news to the DXers on the reflector. There were Dxpeditions being planned to both of these entities. I don't know if Elecraft was providing equipment to either dxpedition.
