Wayne, It sounds like you're having fun with your new toy, putting all the pieces together. I'm very jealous of you. You have a job (where I assume that you get paid) doing exactly what you love to do). I have a son-in-law that is a climber and he sells and markets climbing equipment. My daughter is a photographer, doing what she loves as well. There is no better job than doing what you love to do! Keep having fun with my new radio (whenever it comes!..) [Elecraft] AM mode added to the KX3 (etc.)
Just completed AM mode on the KX3. Sounds excellent when listening on a K3. I'll be listening on 3.870 tonight, hoping to make the first AM QSO on the KX3.
