Good Evening, Twenty meters had QSB on most callers though it was productive and fair to most locations. Weather reports were cooling off from what they had been last week. I even got a report of rain in California! There were sprinkles up here but not enough to prevent walking outside without a hat. I did lose one caller at the end of the first net. QSB was so bad it was hard to copy any letter sent. Each time I tried to copy the callsign it was different. The best idea I have for the call is WB0TH but I also copied NB0OP along with a few variations on each. Hopefully conditions will be better soon so I can work that operator. During my walks lately I have had to watch out for the orb spiders' webs. A week ago they were nowhere to be seen. This week they are everywhere I walk. Is this another sign of autumn? I only saw one foxglove blossom during my explorations. Makes me itchy to get all of my wood back to the house. I know winter won't be here for a couple months but heating season is upon me. I know I will have to cut three or four more cords but that will be for after January and into spring. I have more than enough good wood for the depths of winter but much of it is still a long way from the house.

I would like to know who was calling after I closed the twenty meter net but due the heavy QSB I could not copy much. Oh well, next week the propagation will be different. It may even be better because the sun is setting sooner. Daylight savings time will not change for quite a while so the twenty meter net will be effected by the sun angle even out here. I hope it makes life better because I am not holding my breath for any sunspots to appear. With the way it has been acting lately I would turn quite blue! Until next week stay well, 73, Kevin.
