The usual approach to pricing a K2 for sale is to add up the value of the K2
and any included add-ons. Most K2 sellers will then state the total value of
the radio with add-ons and offer everything at a discount. A few of us on
this list feel that some people have offered too steep a discount (as high
as 25% to 30%).

It is up to you to decide the value of your time to build everything and how
quickly you want to sell the radio. Regardless of the price you put on it,
K2's that come up for sale usually sell very quickly.

[Elecraft] For Sale: Elecraft K2/100 with KDSP2, KIO2, KNB2

2011-03-02 Thread Jeff Kinzli N6GQ
Hi there,

I have a newer K2/100 (5000's serial number) with KDSP2, KIO2 and
KNB2. I find that it sits on my desk and I don't use it, so I'm
looking to sell and invest in more antennas.

I built the K2, and it works great, but does have one small bug - the
TX output spikes sometimes but I have not determined why, probably a
cold solder joint somewhere? Not sure. It's relatively uncommon
though.

I'm open to reasonable offers. I don't know what it is worth.

Thanks,

Jeff N6GQ
