AMMO CAN and the battery are heavy enough to support a fishing-pole mast for 
the antenna..
 I would like to give credit to the author of the original article for the 
idea.  Does anyone know the source?

A few years ago i came across a portable OPS set-up for the K1 WHICH CONSISTED  
BASICALLLY of a metal tool box or maybe a fishing tackle box.  The box
