I suspect that you may have attempted to change some menu items and do other actions when it did not work without the regulator installed. Since this is a new build, I suggest you do a Master Reset which will put all the menu items back at the default setting. Hold the 4, 5 and 6 buttons in while turning power on. then wait for the reset to complete.
