[Elecraft] K3 K3DSPUPGD Installation info?
I can't seem to locate any info on the installation of the Revision D K3DSPUPGD DSP board on the Elecraft web site. Is it not available until you actually order and receive the upgrade board? If it IS available as a download, I'd like to review it before ordering. Can anyone please help point me toward the installation instructions? Happy New Year! Terry, the upgrade board did not come with any special instructions. I installed mine by following the guidelines in the K3 Kit Assembly Manual. It was a very easy mod. Of course, the same electrostatic discharge prevention cautions apply (I.e. you need an ESD mat and wrist strap.)
