This happened to me not on a K3 but in a headphone conector on a mixing
board.but the same connectors. when the tip came off the
connector the tip was attached to a pin that extended trough the ring
a sleve. so what was left inside the mixer was not so deep down the
hole.with a flashlight and very fine long needle nose pliers I was
able to grab it and pull it out. no damage done.
