But if the 10Hz (and 1Hz for that matter) digits are actually not zero then
the radio would be displaying a frequency that could be up to 99Hz low.

Personally I'd like the 1Hz to be set to 0 when 10kHz steps are used, and
10Hz set to 0 when 100Hz steps are used, etc. Then however many digits were
being displayed, it would always be the exact frequency.

Hi Bill and thanks for the reply.

I'd like tuning as usual in 10 kHz steps, but would like to able to shut off
the display of the 10Hz digit.

I tune to Khz.zero's and then use the Fine/Coarse settings to accomplish
what I think you are asking for.

Subject: [Elecraft] K3 Feature Request

Experience has shown me that I can more easily tune to a desired frequency
that is 'kHz.000' without the visual distraction of the 10Hz digit. Is it
possible to create a setting whereby the 10Hz digit can be shut off from
view as the 1Hz digit can be via the FINE button? E.g.. kHz.0 vs. kHz.00 or
kHz.000.

Best regards,
Dick - KA5KKT
