Re: [Elecraft] K3 stuck in transmit?
Ross, If you have everything disconnected from the K3 except power and a dummy load, then I have no really good ideas of the cause. Are you certain it is in Transmit? Is there any power output developed? If it is really in transmit and power out is developed, I would suggest trying an EEINIT - hopefully you have a saved configuration file so you don't have to do all the re-calibration process manually. See the manual section on Parameter Initialization for the steps involved. 73, Don W3FPR On 4/19/2013 7:14 PM, Ross Primrose wrote: My K3 is stuck in transmit. [Elecraft] K3 stuck in transmit?
My K3 is stuck in transmit. As soon as it powers on, it goes straight into transmit. Nothing I've tried has corrected the problem. At this point, there's nothing connected to the K3 except power and a dummy load, still can't get it out of transmit. [Elecraft] [K3] Stuck in Transmit
Thanks for the suggestions. Seemed to have cured the problem (at least for now). I sure do enjoy having this forum for getting help since I am somewhat of a novice to the ham community and the K3. 73 de Dave KJ6CBS __ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Have you tried removing power from the K3 and then power it on? 73, Bill K9YEQ -Original Message- From: elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of David Guernsey Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2012 3:00 PM To: elecraft@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Elecraft] [K3] Stuck in Transmit My K3/10 is stuck in transmit. I have checked that K3 is not in VOX, and that the PTT is not stuck.
