Yes,Ludwig, it works OK, now! I use Thunderbird as well and have set it to plain text from the start using it. I am against any markup. It has been asked many times to change that on the qth.net mailman and many times was responded with "no" by the maintainers. Users that send both should know that markup is removed and only the plain text part is distributed. This question arose on the K4 groups.io list recently. The "R" is actually a "D" superposed over "R" - the white portion is the "D" and the entire character is the "R." The indicator shows that Dynamic Range optimization is ON. Oh, so *that's* why that happens! It seems like it would be more user friendly for the reflector to bounce mails with attachments or with no plain-text message.
