Re: [Elecraft] K4 Remote Antenna button

Just looking at the updated manuals and wanted to know about the DC
input power range limits.  On page 4 of the new update its ays power of
13.8 to 14.2V preferred.  I have been running my K3s with an input power
of 14.8V based on IMD tests I have done.  What is the safe range for DC
input and is the 14.2V recommendation based on an IMD sweet spot or can
I leave my existing supply at 14.8V. I can adjust down to 14.2V if that
is better operating point.

Thanks for updates on docs.

How would it physically transmit commands? USB, Ethernet?

USB, Ethernet, or RS232. There's no limit on how this could be done, but it
hasn't been added yet. Do you have a particular antenna switch or other device
in mind? It could also be a rotator, etc.

I have neither a K4 nor a loop controller from Loftur[0], but my dream is
adding an ethernet interface to the latter and controlling it from the
former.

I don't see many other choices.
